Tonkolili now open for business- District Chairman

In an exclusive interview with Awoko at the Tonkolili District Council, the District Council Chairman, Alusine Sesay said “Tonkolili is now open for business.”
He explained that the arrival of the new generator in the district signifies that Sierra Leone is moving forward.
The District Council Chairman revealed that over 20 years the district had gone without electricity.
He explained that others were making mockery of the district because the Bumbuna Hydro is in the district yet they had been without electricity.
However, he noted, “development is a gradually process,” adding, “for some of us our perspective about development is that it is a process that goes from one point to another.
