STC-NESTRA embarks on logistics and supply chain management training

The Sierra Leone Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SLIEPA) in collaboration with a Dutch consulting and training firm has commenced a four- day certified training on supply chain management, logistics and trade facilitation for the private sector in Sierra Leone at the Hub Hotel, Wilberforce in Freetown.
Speaking at the commencement of the training, the Director for Export Development at SLIEPA, Sheka Kawa welcomed the trainers from Netherlands and encouraged the participants drawn from the private sector in logistics and supply chain  to make good use of the training to improve on their services.
He said the training came as a result of a recent trade mission visit from Netherlands to Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia with the aim to support post ebola recovery in affected countries in West Africa.
